About Me: I teach two half-day preschool classes at TAES. I live in Duncansville with my husband and two children. I have a dog named Luna.
Education: I graduated from Mount Aloysius College with a degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education in 2005. I obtained my Master's Degree from Gannon University in Curriculum and Instruction in 2008.
Experience: I taught Kindergarten for one year in Glen Burnie, MD. I began teaching preschool in Altoona Area School District in 2006. I held various positions in Altoona including: itinerent preschool instructor, evaluator, classroom teacher, preschool specialist, and a positive behavior coach. In 2021, I was hired as an early intervention instructor in Tyrone Elementary School and in 2022 I became a preschool classroom teacher. I also work a second job at Kids First where I provide special instruction for birth to three aged children.
What I love: Spending time with my children, friends, and extended family.
Some of my favorites: Coffee, iced tea, chocolate, nachos, ice cream, and sunshine.
I love teaching! My goal is to provide a positive learning environment for ALL children. I hope to leave an impact on each and every child that I have had the opportunity to teach! I look forward to collaborating with families and co-workers to help shape your child's future!
