Hi! Thank you for visiting our classroom webpage! I am Shana Smith.  I have always loved school and wanted to be a teacher as long as I can remember.

I am a 2003 Penn State graduate with a degree in Elementary Education.  I added an Early Childhood Certification in 2008.

I have been working with Tyrone students and families since 2006 as a Preschool teacher and a Kindergarten teacher.  I love teaching Kindergarten!  It is a wonderful place to spend my days.  I am so thankful to work with such awesome students and wonderful families in this community. 

I am an Altoona graduate, but now live in Warriors Mark, PA with my husband, 2 children and Yorkie. I love to travel in our RV, sing and shop.  I love to laugh and spend time with family and friends.
