Special Education Teacher – Existing Position

• Full-time position, Start Date August 18, 2025
• 7.5 hours/day, 5 days/week, 187 Contract Days
• Includes health benefits, and 10 sick and 2 personal days
• Required Certification: Special Education PK-12
• Proactively support students with social, emotional, and academic development, assist classroom teachers in developing plans and implement strategies for student success, coordinate and facilitate parent meetings, and complete all IEP paperwork.

Special Education Teacher – Existing Position

• Full-time position, Grades 5-8; Start Date August 18, 2025
• 7.5 hours/day, 5 days/week, 187 Contract Days

• Required Certification: Special Education PK-12
• Instruct special education students with significant disabilities in grades 5-8. Coordinate educational programming and collaborate effectively with related service providers and support staff to meet student needs. Develop and modify curricula and complete all IEP paperwork. Communicate with parents about student growth and development.

Start Date: July 1, 2025

• Enrollment: Approximately 800 students, Birth to 4th Grade
• Candidates will work within a birth to 4th Grade building and will be involved with the Tyrone Elementary Daycare. Early Intervention, PreK program and Kindergarten through 4th Grade. The candidate will work with the building principal and other administrative team members to plan all areas of the elementary school year. The Elementary Assistant Principal will be responsible for working with and supervising teachers, in cooperation with the Building Principal.
