I was born and raised in Altoona, PA and graduated from Altoona Area High School.  I attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and a Secondary Mathematics Teaching Certificate.  After graduating, I began teaching at Tyrone Area High School.   I am the Math Department Chairperson. I have also enjoyed being Co-Advisor for the Prom since I began teaching at TAHS.  I currently teach Dual Enrollment Calculus, Dual Enrollment Statistics, Statistics, Academic Algebra 2, and SAT Math Review.   I am married and have three sons, my oldest attends Penn State University and the other two attend Altoona Area High School.  In my spare time, I enjoy reading and attending my children's activities and sporting events.
