My name is Kathy Beigle. I have been teaching for ten years; the last nine years have been here at Tyrone. I teach English 12 and Honors English 12. I received my undergrad and graduate degrees from Saint Francis University and recently received my certificate in ESL (English as a Second Language) from the IU8-Altoona. Along with teaching students reading comprehension, text analysis, and honing in on their writing skills, one of my biggest goals is to instill the importance of responsibility. Since I typically teach all seniors, whose next step in life is the "real world," I feel it imperative that they leave Tyrone Area School District as responsible young adults. I truly enjoy sharing this very special year with them.
