• On July 5, 2012, Governor Corbett signed into law Act of July 5, 2012, P.L. 1084, No. 126 Cl. 24 Session of 2012, which pertains to mandated child abuse recognition and reporting training.  As a result, the Tyrone Area School District is requiring that all employees, substitutes, coaches, and volunteers provide proof of completion of this training within 30 days of board approval. 

    The training can be completed online at no cost through the Pennsylvania Child Welfare Resource Center:  www.reportabusepa.pitt.eduPlease be sure to print the certificate of completion when you have finished the training and provide a copy to Karen Raling in the business office.

    Please Note:  In section 9, slide 320 of the course there is a question/answer where you choose if you are a mandated or a permissive reporter, you will need to select mandated reporter in order to receive the required three hours of training.
