It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Tyrone Area School District web site.  Thank you so much for visiting.  I am excited for you to learn more about our school district and the many opportunities provided to our students.  The Tyrone Area School District believes each child is unique, and it is our responsibility to provide the best education possible in an environment that supports, engages, and challenges students to achieve their fullest potential.  Tyrone Area School District’s reputation for excellence in academics, the fine arts, and extracurricular programs is well known.  Our focus on the whole child means students are educated to become successful, productive citizens who are critical thinkers and who exhibit strong moral character.

We are fortunate to have a Board of Education that strongly supports our school system, as well as, highly qualified teachers and support staff.   We strongly believe that children learn best when educators partner with parents and the community to establish a collective commitment and willingness to serve our students at the highest level.  We are blessed in the Tyrone Area School District to have excellent partnerships with all of our stakeholders, and our children benefit from these relationships. 

As superintendent, I believe that all students are capable of high achievement.  I am committed to ensuring every child is inspired and supported in a vibrant learning environment.  I am dedicated to this endeavor and honored to provide system-wide leadership to help our schools achieve success.
