Currently, I teach Civics and Personal Finance at the High School beginning in September, 2023. 

Before this teaching position, I taught Social Studies for Bald Eagle Area SD.  During my 22 years there, I taught Modern American History, AP United States History, Government and Economics, and History Through Literature and Film.  Also, I taught Driver's Education and In-Car Training.   I was the yearbook advisor for 9 years and served a the History Club advisor.   Lastly, I served as the Area Coordinator (Dept. Chair) of the Social Studies department since 2013 adjusting and working with the team to improve our curriculum. 

In addition, I became a Google Certified Trainer, Edpuzzle coach, Khan Academy ambassador, and Book Creator user.  I see technology as one avenue to improve teachers and students.  My class builds both content, thinking, and technology skills.   

I look forward to my opportunity to help the Tyrone Community.
