    Tyrone Tough is our growth mindset which describes how we will accomplish our mission.  It is an attitude that we will set goals and persevere toward these goals despite challenges. It is built on the following tenets:

    • We treat each other with kindness and respect.
    • We continuously strive to meet academic goals and believe in the power of education to better ourselves.
    • We are resilient and persevere through challenges.  
    • We have a growth mindset and believe in the power of “yet.”

    Goals
    We have broken down our mission into smaller attainable goals. 

    • Students and staff will feel that our school culture is positive and will feel welcome in our building.
    • Students and staff will be able to recognize their support systems and know how to utilize them.  
    • Students will create plans for their future after high school. 
    • Students and staff will set and reach personal academic goals based on a growth model.
