Hello and welcome to Tyrone Area Elementary School, home of the Golden Eagles. I am extremely happy to serve as the Principal at TAES. Our school is full of dedicated, caring and compassionate teachers and staff members that strive to make each day of learning fun and meaningful for our students. Our faculty prides itself in working in a collaborative manner that allows our students to enjoy the benefits of community support and innovative thinking. At Tyrone, your student’s learning is a top priority!
At Tyrone Elementary School, our curriculum is aligned to the PA Academic Standards and the PA Core Standards, as we are committed to providing our students with an education that is conducive to 21st century learning. As we work to enhance our programs, we continue to teach our students the importance of collaboration, creativity and critical thinking.
Along with the support of our families and community members, we will continue to provide the building blocks of success for the students that attend our school. Our hope is that our students not only achieve academic success while within our care, but also begin to develop social skills that will allow them to grow into respected members of our community.
