School-Wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (SWPBIS) is a proactive approach to establishing the behavioral supports and social culture needed for all students in a school to achieve social, emotional and academic success.
Our SWPBIS Team has developed and are implementing a School-wide system for rewarding students that present positive behavior throughout their educational day. Each year, we will have a school-wide assembly at the beginning and middle of the school year to review and model the expectations and also to explain our positive behavior support program. Students will earn SOAR cards for modeling positive behavior while at school. All adult members of our school community may give out the SOAR cards (teachers, paraprofessionals, secretaries, custodians, cafeteria workers, etc.). The cards will be used for the SWPBIS Reward Store, during monthly celebrations and also for other fun events throughout the school year. The School-Wide expectations:Safety
