Know our school expectations!!! - Student council members should demonstrate a firm grasp of the hallway, restroom, and cafeteria expectations, in addition to their teachers’ classroom expectations. Students should know and live out our school motto: Strive for success, Observe safety, Act with integrity, and Respect all.

Participation in the implementation of our SOAR Lessons - Student council members should feel comfortable participating in and presenting lessons alongside other team members under the supervision of a SOAR teacher committee member. These lessons include “refresher” lessons in the hallway, restroom, cafeteria, assembly lessons, and bus lessons.

Student voice - As a member of the student council, you are the pulse of what students around the building are saying about our school and SOAR program. You will collect data via surveys to provide team feedback on the effectiveness of our program. This data will be used to make any necessary changes.

Special Projects - Our members are often chosen participants in special school-wide events and projects, such as SOAR assembly set up and Kindness Day.
